Terms and conditions

1/ The competition is open to artists of all ages and nationalities. This section is open to all genres and techniques with use of digital sources: video projections, interactive works, installations, net-art, ...

2/ For the on-line works you must give the URL in your registration form and send a demo copy for the archive and the visualitation.There is no limit to the number of works that can be presented by each artist, but each work must be submitted on a separate DVD and accompanied by a separate entry form. We will not accept compilations of various works on a single DVD.

3/ Works must have been made no earlier than January 2006.

4/ All entries will undergo a pre-selection process.

5/ Deadline for entries is 27th June 2008.

6/ Work presented in a language other than Catalan, Spanish, French and English will need to be subtitled in Spanish, Catalan or English.

7/ All works must be accompanied by a paper copy of the completed and signed registration form, which the author will receive by email with the confirmation of the registration. All works must also be registered on line. The submitted works, with the registration form, must to be sended by postal mail to:

8/ Festival organizers will contact the authors, producers or distributors of the selected works by the 1st of September in order to obtain the maximum results on the set up for all works. If it’s necessary the presence of the artists to set up the selected work, the organization will cover as well as it could the expenses of the journey and accommodation.

9/ Copies of selected works will be deposited in the festival’s archives and will be used solely for consultation purposes.

10/ Non-selected works will not be returned.

 

Prizes

1/ An international jury made up of renowned professionals will award one prize for the best installation or interactive work of €2000.

2/ Two nights of accommodation for one individual per selected works will be provided free of charge during the festival. In the case of collectives and coauthors the festival will provide accommodation for two people maximum.

3/ Members of the jury may not compete as authors or producers. The decisions of the jury are final and no appeals will be admitted.

4/ Participation in this festival implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions. The breach of any of these terms and conditions will result in the work being disqualified.
